Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your KidsCompass account — provider or parent — from inside the app, or by sending us a request. This page explains both routes, exactly what is deleted, and what we are required to keep.

Applies to Kids Compass Provider and Kids Compass (Parent) · Last updated: 17 August 2026

In the app — immediate

If you can still sign in, deleting from the app closes your account straight away.

By email — no app needed

Lost access, uninstalled the app, or never signed in again? Ask us to delete it for you.

Request deletion by email

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

Kids Compass Provider app

  1. 1Open the Kids Compass Provider app and sign in.
  2. 2Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. 3Scroll down to the Legal & Support section.
  4. 4Tap Delete Account.
  5. 5Confirm when asked. If the same email is also registered as a parent account, you can choose to delete only your provider account or all of your data.

Kids Compass app (parents)

  1. 1Open the Kids Compass app and sign in.
  2. 2Go to Profile, then Settings.
  3. 3Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deletion is permanent. Once confirmed, you are signed out and can no longer sign in with that account.

If the app asks you to sign in again before deleting, that is a security check — sign in, then repeat the steps above.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete your account

You do not need the app, or a working login, to have your account deleted. Email contact@kidscompass.co with the subject “Account deletion request” and include:

  • Which app the account is on — Provider or Parent
  • Your full name
  • The email address on the account
  • The phone number on the account
  • Your business name, if you are a provider

Please send the request from the email address on the account where possible. If you cannot, we will ask you a few questions to confirm you own the account before we delete anything — this protects you from someone else deleting your account.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove the following from our live systems:

  • Your login credentials and authentication record — you can no longer sign in
  • Your profile: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, address and location preferences
  • Providers: business profile, logo and cover images, class and session listings, class descriptions, photos and videos you uploaded, instructor profiles, and your saved bank account and payout details
  • Parents: child profiles, including name, date of birth, and any allergy, medical or behavioural notes you added
  • Messages and conversations between you and other KidsCompass users
  • Reviews and ratings you posted, and any content you submitted through the app
  • Push notification tokens, marketing preferences and consents
  • Unused credits, class bundles and membership entitlements — these are forfeited and cannot be restored or refunded

What we must keep, and for how long

A small amount of data cannot be deleted on request because Thai law requires us to keep it. It is kept in restricted financial and compliance records, is not used to contact you or to market to you, and is deleted once the retention period ends:

  • Booking, payment, refund and invoice records — kept for the period required by Thai tax and accounting law (at least 5 years from the end of the relevant accounting period)
  • Provider settlement records, withholding tax (WHT) remittances and PND.53 certificates, and VAT records — kept for the period required by the Thai Revenue Department
  • Records needed to resolve an open dispute, chargeback, insurance matter or legal claim — kept until the matter is closed
  • A minimal record that the account was deleted, and limited fraud and safety records, where we have a legal obligation or legitimate interest in preventing abuse
  • Aggregated or anonymised statistics that can no longer identify you — these are not personal data and are not deleted

Copies of your data held in encrypted backups are isolated immediately and securely destroyed on our normal backup cycle, within 90 days.

Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

How long it takes

  • In-app deletion: your access ends immediately, and your personal data is removed from our live systems within 30 days.
  • Email request: we acknowledge within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming you own the account.
  • You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Before you delete — providers

Deleting your account does not cancel your obligations to families who have already booked and paid. Please, before you delete:

  • Complete or cancel any upcoming sessions, and let enrolled families know
  • Check that no payout is still outstanding — once the account is closed, contact us by email to arrange any final settlement
  • Download any invoices or tax certificates you want to keep

If you only want to stop taking new bookings, you can hide or unpublish your classes instead of deleting your account — email us and we will help.
